Navigating Conflict on the Board (TWO PART WEBINAR)
This two-part workshop is one of our series on the nourishment of “healthy board dynamics.” How do you feel when witnessing a deep disagreement on your board? When a seemingly minor misunderstanding between the manager and a board member spirals off into a full-blown argument, what do you do? How do you react when a trusted colleague expresses a strong opinion diametrically opposite of your own?
In this two-part workshop we do a deep dive into the topic of conflict, specifically in the context of board culture and board relationships. In Part 1, we will examine and deepen our own understanding of conflict as a normal part of organizational life and invite participants to identify and process their own feelings about it. In Part 2, we will focus on strengthening various collaborative behaviors and capabilities that will help us to navigate through conflict successfully. (Note: these will be 90 Minute sessions)
