Areas of Expertise:

  • Create and present engaging in-person and virtual trainings focused on relational skills, building a healthy board culture, governance, creating documents and updating processes
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, or retreats with respect, humor, and connection.
  • Empowering people/teams with tools toward more meaningful relationships
  • Consult with boards with a balance between technical advising/training and a personal touch that puts people at ease

I believe life is about our relationships. Technology, science, and math are necessary in our society but they don’t teach us how to get along. I believe if we  learned and incorporated relational skills into our lives we would experience more inner peace, and our communities could encompass more understanding.

I empower people by providing tools to create meaningful relationships in all aspects of our lives.

I met with the Board last night. They are a small Coop, 22 mostly older, homes in Concord.  They’ve been a Coop since 1994 and several of the Board and other members have been in the park since its inception.  After we had discussed several issues, I mentioned the longevity of the Coop and Teresa and Arthur both said that they wouldn’t still be in existence if it weren’t for ROC-NH and Marcia, in particular.  They found themselves $100,000 in debt many years ago and facing bankruptcy.  They called NHCLF and Marcia swooped in and saved them.
