Columinate Financial Services Team is a group of accounting and reporting professionals with a wide range of experiences who support co-ops to create high functioning financial reporting systems or improve existing systems to meet the needs of decision makers.

Start-up Co-ops

We work with co-ops in all stages of development. Establishing a relationship early on with an experienced accountant can help a new co-op avoid costly mistakes and establish strong financial controls from the beginning. We can assist with establishing and supporting the bookkeeping and reporting system, preparing state and federal tax returns and advising on grant structures and other opportunities.

Established Co-ops

Our work with established food co-ops is as varied as the co-ops themselves. When finance departments are in a time of transition, our experienced professionals can step in to work fast and get the needed information to decision makers as quickly as possible and minimize the disruption in store operations. Also, we support new finance managers by providing them with the tools and coaching they need to establish a strong reporting system.
