Hether has provided consistent, positive, critical board leadership at PFC for over 15 years. She has been part of GM hiring and transition, supported through the transition to policy governance, led an owner loan campaign that raised $580,000 toward our new home, and consistently supports board leadership development. PFC would definitely not be where we are today without Hether’s strong commitment, leadership skills and passion for the mission.

As a newly forming non-profit with a lot of fresh board members, working with Hether to create our governance model was invaluable!  We knew that we needed more structure but were unsure of how to start.  Hether was an excellent guide on our journey to a policy governance model, providing a detailed framework for approaching development of policies that fit our unique organizational structure as well as helpful examples of other organizations’ policies.  Always inquisitive and approachable, she sought to understand the specific needs and operations of our organization and used that information to help us craft policies that are practical and immediately applicable to our work.  She also went beyond the expected scope of work to help us understand how the Policy Governance process could be applied to organizational operations such as performance reviews.
