Our Cooperative Board Leadership Development (CBLD) team is looking ahead to another great year of supporting your organization’s success through our award-winning CBLD program. Now in its 21st year, CBLD provides an annual program of board support that includes monthly consulting, facilitated board retreats, a wealth of online webinars and other board trainings, and a library of resources to support your board in governing well. Your CBLD enrollment includes exclusive access to a core set of CBLD courses via our new online learning platform, CBLD Academy.

2025 CBLD Trainings

Your CBLD enrollment includes unlimited registration in any of our CBLD webinars and events throughout the program year, as well as unlimited online learning through CBLD Academy! Our 2025 program will include:

Workshops
Virtual CBL 101 Half-day, online version of our premier training for new directors. Offered quarterly in 2025.
CBL 101 Full day, in-person training and co-op networking for new directors, focused on foundations of governance.
Webinars
Financial Training for Directors Series Consisting of four weekly sessions, this series helps new and experienced directors build knowledge and confidence in monitoring financial health as part of their oversight role. Topics include financial statements and key indicators, budgeting and planning process, evaluating monitoring reports, and developing the ability to spot issues and raise critical questions. Offered spring and fall 2025.
Explorations in Policy Governance Series This multi-session series examines various aspects of governance, including both practical skill-building as well as exploration of broader governance concepts and issues. Policy Governance will serve as a backdrop, but directors from organizations with diverse approaches to governance are welcome. Offered spring and fall 2025.
