Absolutely confidential

Not only can staff have confidence that their ratings and comments on a survey questionnaire will not be revealed to anyone; they can also know the survey data will be analyzed without bias – something external experts can provide.

Reflects the opinions of ALL the staff

Participants should not self-select based on the intensity of their interest. Self-selection tends to skew results, usually toward the negative. We work with management to ensure that all eligible employees complete the questionnaire. We set a target of not less than 90% participation and usually get 100%.

Measures engagement as well as satisfaction

Engaged employees (as opposed to those who are merely satisfied) are more likely to give their best each day, are committed to the co-op’s goals and values, and are motivated to contribute to organizational success.

Surveys taken online

Our custom-designed survey program makes taking the survey easy and efficient for your staff. Each employee is assigned a key code, which allows us to identify which key codes are still unused, without knowing the identity of the employee. The HR staff can then follow up with those key code-holders to remind them to take the survey. Surveys can be taken from any computer or mobile device.

Follow-up one-to-one interviews with randomly selected employees

to provide insight into the meaning of the survey results. We find these follow-up interviews to be essential in interpreting the scores. The questions we ask are based on the survey results, so they vary from one survey to another.

Uses standard deviation as a tool

to see where employees strongly differ, or not, on any given question. This is an essential aid in interpreting survey results, particularly on questions concerning discrimination or harassment.

Sorts responses by work groups

Survey data can pinpoint areas that need management attention.

Reports back to the staff

In addition to the comprehensive data and reporting provided to the organization’s leadership we’ll include a report written to the staff summarizing the results and themes of the survey.
